Collector and historian of LSD blotters Mark McCloud will talk about the history of psychedelics at Ever Gold Gallery on Thursday, October 11 at 7 pm, an Art Gallery Week special presentation. McCloud owns the largest collection of de-activated acid blotters in the world, called the Institute of Illegal Images, which he displays in his San Francisco home (Juxtapoz). Reproductions of McCloud’s collection can be purchased on his website, Blotter Barn.

 

 

McCloud’s talk will take place in Guy Overfelt’s #BLACKLIGHT instillation. Complementary interactive punch will be provided by the Bon Vivants.
