On Thursday, April 18, Root Division will present “TASTE 2013”, a night of inspired local food, drink, art, and live music. “TASTE 2013” presents guests with artfully inspired bites & libations all donated by over a dozen of San Francisco’s culinary wizards and made onsite in Root Division’s gallery and studios.  Proceeds benefit Root Division’s free after school art classes for Bay Area youth.  Root Division also has numerous studios in the back of the facility which are usually open for people to visit and speak with the artists.  Root Division has been offering youth classes for many years bringing creative engagement to young people around the Bay Area.  This is a wonderful program to support knowing how public schools are currently cutting back funding for their art departments.  There will be a raffle and silent auction at the event and VIP tickets include early access to culinary treats, a special cooking demonstration & tasting by a featured chef, and a limited-edition artist-designed tote gift bag.
