Opening Saturday, January 11th at George Billis Gallery, Los Angeles is “I Feel Myself Transported,” a solo exhibition by Michael Chearney featuring a body of new paintings. For Chearney, art is a living thing. His process involves great physicality, a full engagement of his mental, physical, and spiritual space. With the painting’s intricate patterns and textures, and overall impressionistic overtones, the canvas suggest both micro and macrocosmic visions. Each piece vibrates with its own frequency of color and its own unique non-verbal field of communication.

Opening Reception: January 11th, 2014. 5-8pm.
