Opening Friday, January 24th at Michael Thibault Gallery, Los Angeles is a solo exhibition by Henry Codax. For Codax’s Shoot the Lobster exhibition at Michael Thibault, the artist will present a new collection of monochrome paintings. This is the artist’s first show on the West Coast. Recent solo and two-person exhibitions incude Gavin Brown’s Enterprise (NYC), Martos Gallery (NYC), Carriage Trade (NYC), and Galerie Susanna Kulli (Zurich). “Colors are everywhere, in every situation. A monochrome painting isolates what is ubiquitous.
