Multidisciplinary artist Kota Ezawa is scheduled to be part of SFAI’s Graduate Lecture Series next week. I had the privilege of getting to know Kota as a professor a couple years in a row and can guarantee this is a talk you won’t wanna miss.

“Kota Ezawa’s projects have taken the form of digital animations, slide projections, lightboxes, paper cutouts, intaglio etchings, ink drawings, and wood sculptures, and often draw on images from art history and popular culture.
An alumnus of SFAI and a faculty member at California College of the Arts, he has had solo exhibitions at Hayward Gallery Project Space (London), Artpace San Antonio, and Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, and participated in group exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Art Institute of Chicago, Andy Warhol Museum, and Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.”
