FEEDBACK
Marlborough Contemporary
545 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001
July 6 – August 4, 2017
Now on view at Marlborough Contemporary, FEEDBACK is a group exhibition curated by Leo Fitzpatrick. Featuring work by more than 70 artists, FEEDBACK explores the different ways in which artists develop ideas and practices, highlighting the various forms of collaboration that can contribute to a work’s production. Works on view exhibit collaboration in the traditional sense of the term, the various dynamics of artist collectives, and the unpredictable results of public actions and participatory work. FEEDBACK includes work by Vito Acconci, Rita Ackermann, Sophie Calle, Larry Clark, Marcel Duchamp, Paul Kos, Tom Marioni, Paul McCarthy, Dennis Oppenheim, Jack Pierson, Richard Prince, and Christopher Wool, among many others.
Tom Marioni’s The Act of Drinking Beer with Friends is the Highest Form of Art (1970-2017) will be activated every Wednesday evening from 5-8 pm during the course of the exhibition.
